Created and led by USCCA Associate Editor and Senior Training Counselor Beth Alcazar, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is a welcoming and engaging online training guide with multiple layers of instruction. Featuring 3 distinct levels that can be separated or used in combination (Women‚’s Basic Pistol, Women’s Intermediate Pistol, and Women’s Defensive Pistol), this course is designed to reach students who are brand new to firearms (and maybe have never picked up a gun before) through those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting and take the next step with their firearms skills, tools and mindset. The fundamentals of shooting will be introduced, reviewed and built upon while also exploring universal safety rules, situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, marksmanship skills, advanced firearms handling, defensive pistol fundamentals and the use of deadly force. Specifically, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is all about sharing the basics‚ along with the fun, seriousness and importance of being a responsibly armed female. After all, we are worth protecting. To successfully complete this course you must view the introduction and all lessons, and you must achieve a score of 80 percent or higher on all quizzes.

I have taken the course several times and each time I go through it, I learn something new. The topics discussed and covered are from a Women`s view point and taught by a women. I am very happy I purchased this course and simply love going though it time and agin.
