Description
In this online training Countering the Mass Shooter Threat, author Michael Martin analyzes data gathered from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine to determine what can be learned from these tragedies, including whether a reduction in magazine capacity or the banning of any class of firearm, would have changed the outcome. Martin also looks at whether gun-free zones impact the planning of these mass murderers, whether victim response at any mass shooting has made a difference and whether universal background checks or other proposals by gun control advocates stand a chance of stemming the current trajectory of these shootings. Martin summarizes this data with a comprehensive plan designed to eliminate the scourge of these shooters once and for all. To successfully complete this course you must view the introduction and all lessons, and you must achieve a score of 80 percent or higher on all quizzes.

Hello
I took the e-learning course and it covered a lot of ground. It made clear each perspective and clearly showed the point of each argument. I like the fact that it brought home the need for a clear response and plan to protect your clients. As a Pastor of a church I’ve seen how people have targeted ministries considering them soft targets this course gave me the ability to plan and inform our congregation of what to do should an event like that God forbid take place. We would be prepared to offer stiff resistance as well as safe guard our people.
